Biography
Mr. Williams is the Founder and Principal shareholder of IMCG, establishing the firm in 1994. He has been active in the financial services industry in the northeast for over thirty years, filling a multitude of roles from management to analytical research and client consulting.

Chairing IMCG’s Investment Policy Committee, Mr. Williams oversees portfolio management, economic and equity sector analysis, as well as heading up the firm’s endowment consulting services. Within the professional community he is a member of the Maine CFA Society, Maine Estate Planning Council, Maine Employee Benefit Council, as well as the Greater Portland Chamber of Commerce.

In addition to providing pro bono work for organizations like the Children’s Dream Factory and the Live Poets’ Society, Mr. Williams has served on a variety of cultural and community boards including the Portland String Quartet, the Portland Symphony’s Ovation, Seventy Five State Street, the Community Television Network, Opportunity Farm For Boys & Girls, and is most recently serving as board chair for the newly merged Community Schools at Opportunity Farm and Camden. He continues his 16 years of volunteering with The Dream Factory’s local chapter, as well as serving on their National Board of Directors and Finance Committee based out of Louisville.

Mr. Williams was born in New York, the only member of his family not to hail from Maine, graduated from Vassar College in 1978 prior to returning to Portland for graduate work, has two grown sons, as well as his first grandson, and currently resides in Portland.

Biography
Tracy joined IMCG in 2004 as a Portfolio Manager specializing in Wealth Management. He has been a financial advisor for 12 years and manages individual portfolios as well as provides consulting advice to several retirement plans. Tracy specializes in wealth management and financial planning concepts, and works closely with IMCG clients and staff to implement them.

Tracy spends a good portion of his time teaching these concepts to participant groups in retirement plans and has developed an education model that makes IMCG unique. In addition to overseeing Wealth Management, Tracy is part of senior management, the Investment Policy Committee, and is Chief Compliance Officer.

Biography
Steve joined IMCG in 2009 as a Vice President and Fiduciary Consultant specializing in working with complex retirement plans. He is uniquely qualified as his 25-plus years of experience as a fiduciary on the trustee side of the retirement plan industry have included all aspects of working with multiple types of plans, platforms and company structures and sizes.

In addition to designing and consulting on 401(k), 403(b), profit sharing and defined benefit plans, Steve has managed recordkeeping groups for TPA’s, run a mutual fund complex for a large bank, and developed successfully field-tested investment analytics. Steve manages IMCG’s Independent Investment Fiduciary process and is a part of senior management as well as a voting member of the Investment Policy Committee.

Steve is active in the community and currently serves on the boards for Day One, the Institute for Civic Leadership (where he is a Xi class graduate), and the Maine Employee Benefits Council. He also has past service on the boards of the MS Society of Maine and the Maine Cancer Foundation. He is also a frequent speaker and panelist on a variety of topics related to fiduciary investment advice. In his spare time, Steve is a tennis coach for the University of Southern Maine men’s and women’s teams and for the Scarborough High School girls. He received his B.A. from Bates College in 1984 and currently resides in Scarborough with his wife Terri.

Biography
Terry joined IMCG in December of 2005 as a Portfolio Manager. He has been involved in the financial services industry for 30 years and brings a wealth of experience to IMCG from his time as an officer at a New York Stock Exchange member firm and experience as a senior trader on an institutional equity desk on Wall Street.

He has the unique Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA) designation, and provides court-approved investment and financial advice to people going through divorce, often a more pleasant alternative for separating couples than going to court. He is a voting member of the Investment Policy Committee

Prior to joining IMCG, Terry was a Managing Director of Westport Capital Markets, a registered investment advisory firm, and headed up their Portland office after relocating to Maine in 2000. Additionally, Terry frequently contributes articles to newspapers covering a variety of investment topics. He serves on the boards of Preble Street and the Institute for Financial Literacy. He currently resides in Falmouth.

Jason has served on the University of Maine Farmington Advisory Board and is a past volunteer and educator with the Junior Achievement program. He is a Maine native, having grown up in the Lakes Region in the Bridgton/Naples area. He currently resides in Gorham with his wife Kristin and two young children Hadley and Braden.  In his free time Jason enjoys spending time with family and friends, heading to the lake, golfing, running and skiing.

Larry joined IMCG as a Portfolio Manager Associate in 2009, after a long association with the firm. He began his investment career in 1983 as an advisor for Pruco Securities, ultimately becoming owner/managing director of his own firm, Northern New England Financial Services from 1997 to 2008, immediately prior to joining IMCG. Larry runs IMCG’s Old Town/Bangor office and owns a Property & Casualty insurance business in Old Town as well.

John joined IMCG in 2010 as a Portfolio Manager Associate.  His duties at the firm are focused around two primary areas: client service and investment research. He works with the Portfolio Managers on a wide range of client-centered requests including preparation of client portfolio review packages, and assisting with portfolio management.

His investment research is focused on the macroeconomic aspects of investing, and he also works with fundamental equity and fixed income analysis for the various assets that IMCG researches and ultimately purchases for our clients. Additionally, he prepares the weekly in-house economic update. John is a member of the Investment Policy Committee.

Prior to joining IMCG, John worked for Smith Barney in Portland and State Street in Boston.  John received an MBA from the Maine Business School at the University of Maine and a BS in Finance from Marymount Manhattan College in New York City, and is currently a 2013 CFA Level I Candidate.  He lives in Westbrook with his fiancée, Melissa.

Ben joined IMCG in 2010 as a Portfolio Manager Associate.  His duties at the firm are focused around two primary areas: client service and investment research. He works with the Portfolio Managers on a wide range of client-centered requests including preparation of client portfolio review packages, assisting with portfolio management, and preparing financial planning projections.

His investment research duties are focused on the analysis and reporting of specialty assets including mutual funds, closed-end funds and REITs. Additionally, he is the in-house expert in our financial planning software, handles fixed income trading and manages the daily reconciliation process. Ben is a member of the Investment Policy Committee.

Chris joined IMCG in 2010 as a Portfolio Manager Associate.  His duties at the firm are focused around two primary areas: client service and investment research. He works with the Portfolio Managers on a wide range of client-centered requests including trading, preparation of client portfolio review packages, and assisting with portfolio management. He is the primary contact with the custodians regarding solutions for complex client issues.

His investment research is focused on fundamental equity sector analysis for the various assets that IMCG researches and ultimately purchases for our clients. Chris is a member of the Investment Policy Committee.

Camille Shiffler

Biography
Camille joined IMCG in 2006 as a member of the Client Support Group and is now the Operations Director for the firm. In this capacity, she oversees the critical aspects of the workflow for our clients. Her group is responsible for establishing accounts, data processing, interaction with custodians, quarterly client communication mailings and compliance.

Additionally, Camille is skilled in office networking solutions, workflow process, project management and various technology systems, drawing on her prior work experiences to develop a forward-looking strategy for IMCG. She is a member of the firm’s senior management team and is currently enrolled in the National Regulatory Services’ Investment Adviser Certified Compliance Professional (IACCP) Training Program.

Camille’s background in education (having been an educator with USM and Andover College) and her work for MaineHealth and Fairchild Semiconductor have helped her to become fluent in the disparate worlds of technology and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Outside of IMCG, Camille has been involved with adult literacy and computer education through USM and the Bath Department of Education. She currently resides in Portland.

Jeannine Plourde

Jeannine joined IMCG in October of 2006 as a Client Service Associate. Those of you who have interacted with Jeannine know that she provides top flight customer service for our clients, cheerfully handles a variety of client inquiries each day, and is usually the first contact for someone calling or visiting IMCG. She handles most of the day-to-day transactions, including various cash-flow requests and other deposit and distribution-related items. She processes client research requests and is responsible for making sure the client speaks to the right person to answer their questions.

Prior to IMCG, Jeannine worked 12 years for two local banks, and has her B.A. in mathematics. She currently belongs to the Portland Community Chorus, sang with the PSO/Magic of Christmas shows for many years, and is the co-chair of the Cobblestone Quilters. Jeannine resides in with Portland with her husband Ray.
